Enhancing Vocabulary

There are so many ways to enhance the vocabulary, of course English vocab.
I have found an interesting way of learning new words..... Infact I learned one of the words in this way.
The word I learned was "Obnoxious Weed". Smart ones have already figure it out by now how I have learned this word. It was from Hayden Vs Bhajji saga in last Dec-Jan. When I read this word, I was unaware of the meaning of this. It took a search on dictionary.com to find the meaning of this word. After that it likes I have learned this word by heart. Even I can give the meaning of this word if you wake me up at 1 in the morning ;)
Another word which I learn today is "Ubuntu":ubuntu, in the African Bantu language, stresses collective success over individual achievements. This is also from one of the articles on cricinfo on Ishant's spell against SL at Galle.

So Many....Still Alone

Few days back, while I was talking on phone to Dhairya, my friend from school days, he mentioned that it looked we are so near, we can talk any time,we can see each other every time we want-though via internet... still we feel that we are alone. we have lots of friends...still we feel we are alone, we are missing something from inside.


This propels me to think on this. When I tought on this, I realize that everytime we call eachother we said...aur sunao kya chal raha hai..after every 10 seconds... When we ask what's up..reply is nothing much as usual.... Even though we have internet and all latest gadgets...still what we are upto is Nothing Much... really strange....


I feel that we are so near yet so far. Something is missing from life. I feel that I am alone. I need friends, and they are here still they are far.

Remember those days from College. It was so fun. It was a togatherness which we all cherish till this time. Once the college is over we all were on our own ways. At a distance apart. We find lots of good people at work, in socirty..still I believe college friends are the one which are the most remembered ones.

Chak De India- A realization

I have recently seen Chak De India, Hindi Movie starring Shahrukh Khan. Movie is really well made, concept is well executed. Cast is superb.

I am not discussing here, the pros-cons of movie. If the inside the board rooms things shown in the movie are really happening, then that is very bad to the Indian sport fraternity. if we have learnt anything from this movie then it serves the purpose. None of the sports are above or below other sport. We should respect the other sport and start value it. Money is not the only criteria for the success of a game, a national game.

The thing with India is we are over zealous and over reacting to anything, let it be politics, sports, religion. Be your self, analyze the situation and then react, rather than react first and analyze the situation later.

Give your support to hockey and see the change. Recently I have seen the full house at Chennai in Asia Cup, and we all have seen the effect- India won the Asia Cup. If you provide the support to players they will deliver. So come ahead and give your support to games other than cricket.

Let's show world that we are a 1 billion country.
