Bomb Blast at Pune

13th was really unlucky for Pune this time. A bomb blast took place at German Bakery, the well known place of Pune. The news was really shattering. I din't imagine the magnitude earlier, as it was understood to be a cylinder blast. However after some time the fog clears and reality came to hound us. The terror came to our own backyard, but a strange thing happened to me. I was not as worried and fearful as I was on 26/11 or any other such incident in the past-though they were outside Pune, far from my home. However this time I was worried still bit casual. Even people around me was casual in their approach. It looks like nothing had happened.
This raises a question in my mind-- is it because these blasts are now too often and they are no more news to us????? Or we have accepted the reality that this is our destiny??? We will bark for a day or two and then back to basics???????

Freedom

I would like to discuss this word from the Indian perspective. Our ancestors fought a hard battle to get freedom from British rule. Finally on 15th Aug, 1947 we got our freedom. However looking into current scenario, I am sure that we have got too much freedom :) In India, we have true freedom ;) You can spit anywhere, you can pee anywhere, you can do potty anywhere (specially on the railway tracks), you can drive without any rules on the road. Imagine doing any of the above things, in any other developed country, in public.
Still ppl cry we do not have full freedom.

Congress' Win in General Election 2009

I am a hard core supporter of BJP and will remain so for entire life. I am very disappointed with this result, however happy that India has got near stable govt this time. No one is there to hijack the govt on policy issues. Now we have to see how much Congrerss can deliver, how much it can fulfill the promises. They had got the 2/3 majorities in past (like 1984) and they had messed up it. They had license raj, hope they will not try to do that this time. There was corruption all the time in past govt, hope it will not be same this time!!!

Let's hope for the best!! I will wish BJP for the better luck next time!!

I was partialy right!!

This is in continuation of my previous blog " Our obsession with Goras!!".

After hearing all the news regarding Racism and increase in no. of foreign players in a team, I am thinking I was partially right in my assessment that we are very obsessed with goras and their views!!! This is an INDIAN Premier League with INDIAN Domestic cities' franchises, why do we need foreign dominance? What ever be the motivation behind starting IPL (read to start a league against ICL), Mr. Modi and Mr. Pawar had given reasons that IPL was aimed at giving chance to Indian Talent, youngsters and find new talents from India. After watching all the drama I am believing BCCI has diverted from the aim due to sheer money!!!

Hope all ends well in IPL drama and be benificial for Indian players.

Our obsession with the Goras (white skin)

This post may sound racist, however the truth is unavoidable. The views, mentioned here, are pure personal. They are not politically or religiously motivated. If it hurts someone I am sorry.

What I have found among us is we give more importance, weight to the comments maid by persons with white skin!! Let our own people say n number of good words about a particular subject, but if no one from out side India has approved it then it is not valid. If some unknown gora comes and say the same then only it is valid :(
I have seen how people are giving importance to goras/goris in Goa and avoiding the own Indians. Take the example of IPL 2009. B'lore, Mr. Mallya- The so called keeper of Indian heritage with Tipu Sultan Sword and Gandhi's artifacts, has removed Dravid from the capianship and gave it to Peitersen!!!! If you compare the statistics of KP and RD as captains then Dravid is far better leader... KKR has removed Souravda and put McCullum as captain, again the same dada is tried and tested and proven captain!! Chargers has removed VVS and put Mr. Gilchrist in the possition.
I have seen the same behavior in many of the corporates too. You will give better treatment on the name of Indian Culture to the goras, Atithi Devo Bhav: but then the Indian which come to your city/office from other part is not an Atithi??

My friends may differ on my views on this, however this my personal views and I am standing by these views.

Terror Attack on Mumbai

Since yesterday I am seeing my self along with my friends in office silent, sad, lost in them selves. This is really hurting. Even though we are not a Mumbaikar or having any connection with Mumbai, being Indian it hurts. The question comes to my mind is how many times we have to see such horror? Why every time we have to suffer? Somewhere we all are at fault, not our politicians, because we have chosen them, they are not sent by god, they are one of us. This is in our genes that we afraid, we do not retaliate, we suffer, we alow others to rule us. We will forget this incidence tomorrow/day after tomorrow, we all will speak spirit of Mumbaikars. But the question will remain when it will happen next time? We have not learnt from our past or we do not want to learn, can't understand what it is...That's the truth. We all are follower of the Geeta, we all believe that 'Sab ko yahi pe apne karmo ka ful milega', but I think terrorist do not believe in Geeta, so we need to stand up and teach them lesson. Otherwise our next generation will be under some other kind of rule. Do not be soft. Our netas will not do anything, we all have to stand up and be vigilant. It is high time now to treat our holy land as our own mother, let's be prepared to protect it. We each one should take care that if something is suspecting near by us, promptly alert. Do not run away, because if every one will do the same, we will be in the same situation some day.
For politicians and news guys: You are confined to safer places, your fortress like homes and AC offices and studios, you have not lost your near ones in any such attacks so it is easy for you all to give lectures. So do not talk about Spirit of Mumbai.

Let's pray for all who have suffered in incident. Let's take oath, we all be ready to face the terror from front.
